Article Focuses on Recent COG Meeting on Chesapeake Bay Cleanup Effort, Costs

The Chesapeake Bay Journal, a monthly publication aimed at informing the public about issues and events that affect the Chesapeake Bay, focused a recent article on a special meeting of the COG Chesapeake Bay and Water Resources Policy Committee held on June 16 with Jeff Corbin, Special Advisor to the EPA Administrator for Chesapeake Bay and Anacostia Restoration. The article covers some local officials’ worries that total maximum daily load (TMDL) actions are too expensive.  It also considers the economic and environmental benefits of the cleanup.
